From the MAG statement:

September 2, 2019. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock reminds individuals and agricultural producers who wish to opt for the benefits under the new tax regulations, must be registered as taxpayer before the Ministry of Finance and the MAG, according to the turn of their agricultural production activity.

For this reason, the MAG begins this September the process of registration of those companies and individuals engaged in agricultural activities and who are not previously registered in the PYMPA register (Small and Medium Agricultural Producers), in the Veterinary Certificates of Operation (CVO) of SENASA, or in the Exporters administered by the State Phytosanitary Service.

Those persons or companies that are not included in any of these registers must approach the Agricultural Extension Agency closest to the location of their productive unit in order to register. The process is free and must be done personally.
