Taiwan Goes to Honduras and Panama to Buy Coffee

From February 7th to 20th a delegation of Taiwanese businessmen will be visiting the two countries to evaluate and buy coffee, and take part in business meetings with local coffee growers.

As part of the Taiwan Coffee Mission 2017, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Trade Office for Central America in Taipei, entrepreneurs will visit farms, take part in tastings and hold business meetings with local producers.

This will be the second delegation visiting the region in recent weeks.  The head of the Department of International Cooperation and Economic Affairs, Lee Singing told that Latribuna.hn that  "...In El Salvador alone, the delegation bought 15 containers of coffee, in line with the promises made by the island's president, Tsai Ing-wen, who returned to Taiwan on January 15 after a tour of Central America. "

Guatemala Coffee: Trade Mission to Taiwan

A trade mission to Taiwan has been organized for November 13th for Guatemalan coffee exporters so that they can participate in the International Fair for Tea, Coffee and Wine 2015.

Funds from the Trade Office for Central America are being used to finance part of the costs for promotion, translation, logistical support and equipment needed for to the ´cupping´or tasting coffee companies who will take part in the mission.

Coffee in El Salvador: Taiwan Trade Mission

From March 15th to 18th a group of 24 coffee importers will be visiting the country to explore business opportunities.

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in El Salvador together will the Salvadoran Coffee Council will be receiving 24 coffee importers, seeking business opportunities with Salvadoran sector companies that have organic, special and brand certificate coffee.
