TVN Media Acquires Radio Panama

TVN Media announced that it has signed an asset purchase agreement for Green Emerald Business Inc., which includes six open radio frequencies under the Radio Panama brand and the right to use the LOS40 brand.

TVN Media reported that the contract was signed on January 24, 2020, an agreement that follows the company's corporate strategy to expand its multimedia product portfolio.

The document signed by Luis Mouynes, general manager of TVN Media, states that "... with the incorporation of Radio Panama, TVN Media's informative radio leadership is consolidated, through a station positioned with high credibility in its opinion and news programming. Similarly, the world brand LOS40, will consolidate the programming of music and entertainment, and participation in different events to continue interacting with the audience."

The statement concludes that the "... closing of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval. We expect to announce in the next few weeks the start date for the operations under the umbrella of TVN Media."
