October 9, 2017, San Jose - Swarovski, a leading crystal precision cutting company since 1895 and a world-renowned brand that adds sparkle to everything from jewelry, watches, fashion accessories to haute couture fashion and lighting technology, will be setting up a business services center in San Jose, Costa Rica, at the end of 2017 to serve its operations in the Americas. TheGlobal Business Services(GBS) will be developed gradually over the next few years and in line with company values.
To maintain its strong competitive position globally, Swarovski is continually looking for ways to improve and adapt its business, allowing it to stay one step ahead. The opening of the GBS is part of an overall strategy to ensure that the Finance and Administration function allows for high performance of the company.As part of this initiative some specific administrative activities of Swarovski, which are close to the American market and its equipment, will be handled from Costa Rica.
The service center which was inaugurated in Managua by the company founded on Panamanian capital, Onelink, joins the 45 companies operating call centers in the country.
With an investment of nearly $2 million, the company Onelink started operations at its new service center in Managua.The company, which in the country will be called Xperts Nicaragua, expects to close the year with a payroll of 700 employees.
