Success From the Conviction in Natural Products

When the concepts "natural, organic and integral" were not as established as they are today, the Costa Rican brand Bioland set a firm course in that direction, and thirty years later, remains a leader in this market.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

An article in Elfinancierocr.com makes clear from the first paragraph what is the essence of Bioland: the nonnegotiable philosophy of its founders for "... all-natural, healthy and environmentally friendly products."

The small business of the 80's which marketed its products in three of its own small stores, today is a big contributor that "... markets more than 300 products in the categories Food and Personal Care with a presence in more than 5,000 outlets throughout the country. "

Another remarkable point about Bioland's management is the decision not to actively advertise their products but rely on "word of mouth" to spread the information that the quality promised on its labels is well founded.

Bioland "... this month decided to launch its exclusive line in Costa Rica of high quality organic cosmetics, by installing its first store in Multiplaza, with which it is launching a new expansion plan that it will manage directly in Costa Rica as well as franchises abroad. "
