Sporting Goods: Investment in Costa Rica

The AR Holdings business group will open three new stores specialized in sports articles from Deportivo Saprissa, which will be located in the Metropolitan Area.

The first store, which has already opened to the public since September 1, has an area of 141 square meters and is located in the Lincoln Plaza shopping center in Moravia.

Antonio Burgos, Director of AR Holdings, explained that "... The stores are inspired by what you find in the best European clubs. The opening of all these stores shows that we continue to grow. We have integrated new features in each store, such as the possibility of personalizing the shirts by adding, for example, their name, number or commemorative shields to the team's victories."

Products with collections for men, women, boys, girls and babies, in addition, a line of training implements, are the items that will offer the three new stores.

The clothing and sporting goods brand Rebook opened in the Multiplaza Pacific shopping center a store focused on the female market.

Lauriane Pedri, Reebok Brand Manager, told Elcapitalfinanciero.com that "... Panama was chosen as the pilot country to have the first Reebok Women Store in the world, because we bet that it will be the best showcase for the region for its excellent geographical location, for being the hub of the Americas and for the presence of the Adidas Group headquarters in Latin America."

In Multiplaza Escazú the first store dedicated to the commercialization of sports articles of the Everlast brand was inaugurated, and the company foresees the opening of two more points of sale.

The company disbursed about $150,000 for the opening of the new store specializing in the marketing of items for activities such as cycling, athletics, yoga, swimming, boxing and others.
