Spanish Trade Mission Visits El Salvador

Entrepreneurs from Spain will engage in business meetings with their Salvadoran counterparts for the next three days.

This trade mission is composed by 21 companies from the machinery and construction equipment industries, as well as information technologies and others.

Trade between both countries has increased as of recently, according to the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in El Salvador. Prensa.com reports: "Salvadoran exports to Spain increased from $59.3 million in 2006 to $103.8 million in 2008 (74% increase) ... imports from Spain reached $91 million in 2008, up from $83 million in 2006".

Guatemala: Entrepreneurs and President Pérez to Travel to Spain

February 2013

The commercial mission is planning to meet with representatives from Spanish business associations interested in investing in Guatemala.

The president will visit Spain from 12 to 15 February as part of a formal invitation, traveling with the ministers of Economy, Defense, Energy and Mines and the foreign minister.

Spanish Investment Comes to Guatemala

The Madrid 2012 mission, consisting of representatives from 21 Spanish companies, held 315 meetings with Guatemalan companies, and established a goal of closing some of the deals within two months.

Among the Spanish companies forming Madrid 2012the mission were: Athelia Solutions, Hispafuentes, Industrias Duero and the consortium Inrialsa-Alquivano, SA, from La Rioja, which announced the installation of a plant which will manufacture PVC windows.

Spanish Businessmen Visit Central America

February 2010

They will undertake a regional tour from February 24th to March 5th, visiting Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica.

It is composed by representatives from 20 Spanish companies, who are members of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid. They will meet with their Central American peers.

Asturian Businessmen Will Visit Panama

December 2009

A group of businessmen from the Spanish region of Asturias will visit Panama in April.

They will analyze business and investment opportunities in the country.

From Prensa.com: "Federico José Suárez, Transportation and Public Works minister, held a meeting with Vicente Alvarez Areces, president of the region, in which they formalized the visit".
