Spanish Entrepreneurs Looking for Business in Nicaragua

A multisectoral mission of 23 Spanish companies will visit Nicaragua from 22 to 23 November.

The activity is being organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madrid, and will feature companies from the following sectors, among others:

- Consulting and engineering
- Building materials
- Port Engineering
- Capital equipment and industrial valves
- Telecommunications
- Hospital Medical Technology
- Transport Consultancy
- Raw materials for the plastics industry
- Power
- Hardware and tools
- Infrastructure and drilling equipment

In Nicaragua, the activity is being coordinated by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Nicaragua.

Salvadorans Exploring Outside Markets

A group of 77 Salvadoran companies from different sectors are exploring the markets in Honduras, Nicaragua, Ecuador y Chile.

Of the participating firms, 22% are classified as micro enterprises, 45% as small, 18% as medium and the remaining 14% are large companies.

The activity corresponds to the second edition of the program ‘Exporting Step by Step 2012’ by the Export Promotion Agency of El Salvador (proess).
