Using the Geomarketing solutions we have developed for our clients, CentralAmericaData's Trade Intelligence Unit analyzed the environment of some of the most important schools in Guatemala. Below is an extract of the study's findings.

Highlights of the analysis for the metropolitan area:

Evelyn Rogers:

When analyzing the potential of the location of this school, which is in the village of Don Justo in the municipality of Fraijanes, it can be seen that about 214,000 people live within a 30-minute drive, and together they spend more than $69 million a month. When the ages of this sector of the population are verified, the data shows that 15% of the total are 5 years old or younger.

Colegio Verbo:

15 minutes away by car from the Naranjo school in Mixco, 389,000 people live there, who together spend about $125 million per month. When evaluating the demographic ranges of this group, the data show that 30% of the total are between 6 and 14 years old.

Village School:

At a distance of 15 minutes by car from the establishment located at kilometer 25 of the Highway to El Salvador, 85 thousand people live there, who together spend about $27 million monthly. The interactive information system specifies that of this population group, 28% are between the ages of 6 and 14.

Note: This analysis can be done for all countries in the region and other markets.

At CentralAmericaData we developed a geomarketing tool based on interactive isochronous maps and consumer data, through which it is possible to identify where people are and what their consumption characteristics are. The map incorporates, for any Central American country, the variables population, income, average monthly expenditure and consumer interests. With this information it is possible to identify potential clients and define promotional strategies accordingly, or also to explore home delivery times from any sales point.
