Salvadoran National Quality Award

The government of El Salvador created the Salvadoran National Quality Award and Recognition of Best Practices, to encourage the pursuit of excellence in products and services.

The launch of the Salvadoran Award for Quality is part of the State Modernization Program and aims to promote the establishment of systems for quality management and continuous improvement in products and services, both in public and private organizations.

The State Modernization Program is implemented by the Department of Governance and State Modernization.

The article in Elsalvador.com informs that "The companies and organizations which aspire to the prize will be evaluated by a network of Quality Executive and the integration of the Quality Task Force (TEC), created for that purpose."

International Conference on Quality

The event will be held on August 25th and 26th in Guatemala City and will deal with issues related to quality systems and accessing markets with GlobalGAP certifications.

Guatemala Hosts Quality Congress

September 2012

On 25 and 26 September at the Grand Tikal Futura Hotel the 9th national and 3rd Central American Congress on Quality will take place.

Organized by the Ministry of Economics, Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and the Directorate of National Quality System (Incotec) and various business groups, the meeting will be held under the motto "Continuous improvement, strategy for competitiveness."
