Residential project works are reactivated

After the Malaga City housing project was acquired by ALD Inmobiliaria in Costa Rica, the construction company has re-started work on the 1,600-unit condominium.

In August, in order to reactivate the project under the name "Residencial Terra Verbena", the acquisition of the residential complex "Malaga City" located in Alajuelita by ALD Inmobiliaria from Rock Constructions was reported.

The Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce reported that according to the information provided, ALD Inmobiliaria will lead the project under its subsidiary Infinito Versol S.A., a specialized company created for the development of this project, which will be implemented together with Constructora Traesa and Urbanizadora La Laguna through a bank loan that ensures the continuity and conclusion of the project.

Mariola Sánchez, ALD Inmobiliaria's marketing manager, said to Nacion.com that "... They have assisted 311 of the 1,167 clients linked to the previous project. In addition, since September 15 receive new customers interested in purchasing housing in the project."

Sanchez added that "... Work is currently being done on the earthworks of construction stages one and two (there is a total of six construction stages to achieve the building of the 1,593 housing units), in addition to the earthwork and construction of stage one infrastructure. Additionally, we are in the first part of the street pavement structure."

Infinito Versol S.A. announced in January 2017 its plan to place $42 million in debt bonds in the local market to finance the construction of a residential development of 1,600 homes.

The issue was authorized by the General Superintendency of Securities in November 2016, and the placement in the local market is scheduled to take place before April this year.
