Residential Construction: New $73 Million Investments

In Costa Rica, Concasa announced that it plans to invest $73 million in the development of four housing projects, which will be developed in the course of 2020 and 2021.

Company executives reported that the first project they will develop is called "Monte Alto", which is a complex of nine apartment towers, located in Curridabat and construction will begin in January 2020. For this project the company will invest $40 million.

At the end of 2020 Concasa will begin to build 60 two-bedroom apartments in San Rafael de Alajuela, a project in which they will invest $3 million.

Elfinancierocr.com reviews that "... By 2021 would remain the development of 240 apartments in San Rafael de Alajuela ($18 million investment) and 102 Townhouse - houses in a two-story condominium - in Ciudad Colón (disbursement of more than $12 million)."

In relation to the Monte Alto project, the article explains that "... it consists of nine towers of seven floors each with six apartments per floor. The complex will have two social areas that will include an event room, children's play area, gym with dressing rooms, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool with two swim lanes, terrace with viewpoint and bar, deck to practice yoga and pilates, racquetball court, dog park, among others."

According to reports from CentralAmericaData, in the first half of 2019, Costa Rica was the country in the region with the largest investment, with approximately $995 million in projects of apartment buildings and horizontal residential, corresponding to 63 EIA.

$14 Million Investment in Residential Complex Announced

October 2018

It is expected to invest $14 million in the infrastructure of an apartment building, which will have 109 housing units and will be located at kilometer 16 of the road between San Salvador and La Libertad.

The project, called AtLoft, will be developed by Tuscania Corporate & Business Park (TCBP), and according to its representatives, the complex will include a total area of seven blocks.

April 2018

Construction work has started on a residential complex estimated at $60 million, which will be composed of three apartment towers and will be located in Antiguo Cuscatlán.

The housing project being developed by the construction company Urbánica is called "Puerta del Alma". It will have 304 apartments and 709 parking spaces which will be distributed in an open area and two basements, and the condominium will be located on Calle El Pedregal in front of the Multiplaza shopping center.
