Regional Summit on Gemstonea and Jewelry in Panama
Industry representatives from various countries will meet on March 18 in Panama City.

Panama City will host the first Regional Summit on Gemstones and Jewellery in Latin America to be held on March 18. The event will be attended by experts and industry representatives from various countries.
In the event discussions will be held on the effect of the opening a stock markets for diamonds, an initiative that was announced for Panama more than four years ago but has not yet materialized.
Accordin to an article in Prensa.com: "The industry generates $ 8 billion in annual sales in the region, has 11,500 sales points for jewelry, over 320 mining companies and nearly 750 wholesalers of diamonds, gemstones and jewelry. "
The Central American Cruise Summit 2017 will be held in San Pedro Sula from May 10 to 12, and is expected to include the participation of 200 people linked to the tourist industry in the region.
At the summit organized every year by the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association issues will be discussed such as tourism development, ports, tourism operations and security for tourists, among other issues related to the cruise industry.
From June 21st to 28th, 2015, Antigua will be hosting the Council of the International Sugar Organization.
