The market study "Refrigeration Equipment Market Study in Central America and the Dominican Republic", prepared by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, details the main figures of the business of importing this type of equipment.

The figures show that in 2019 the companies Frioaire S.A., M.P. Serivice S.A., Copper Group S.A. and Avícola Salvadoreña S.A., accounted for around 38% of total refrigeration equipment imports in the Salvadoran market.

In the case of Nicaragua, it is reported that last year Union Comercial de Nicaragua S.A., Nicaragua Sugar Estates Limited and EDT Nicaragua S.A., concentrated 20% of the market share, measured by purchases abroad.

The interactive report details that York International Corporation, E Air LLC, Sky Corporation, Carrier Transicold and Hussmann Corporation, are among the companies that supply refrigeration equipment to Central American distributors.
