From the Ministry of Finance statement:

As part of the continuous improvement in the quality of services provided to taxpayers, the Ministry of Finance, through the General Directorate of Internal Taxes, makes available the online presentation and payment of the Declaration on the Tax on the Transfer of Real Estate (F09).

From October 1, the preparation of returns may be done through the website www.mh.gob.sv, with the NIT and the taxpayer access code, which will generate the payment order with Electronic Payment Number (NPE), to make payment through Electronic Banks or Financial Institutions authorized by the Directorate General of Treasury.

This new form of payment seeks to facilitate and streamline the tax formalities for taxpayers, without the need to go to the offices of the Ministry, as only the NPE will be needed to make the payment.

Taxpayers may make any query by calling 2237-3444, or by e-mailing declaracioninternet@mh.gob.sv and asistenciadgii@mh.gob.sv, or in person at the Taxpayer Service Center, Express Centers and Minicenters nationwide. See basic instruction guide here.
