Purdy Motors Buys US Dealer

The Costa Rican Automotive company has acquired a car dealership in Dallas, bringing the number of subsidiaries of the company operating out of Costa Rica to five.

The new branch in Texas, was born under the brand Atkinson Toyota South Dallas and is dedicated to marketing Toyota and Scion brands of cars. Purdy Motor plans to continue expanding its operations primarily in North America.

Jesus Castro, CEO of Grupo Purdy Motor, told Elfinancierocr.com that "... We are acquiring deep knowledge in these markets about new tools: the relationship with the customer, technologies, processes, among other things. We are also implementing some outside 'behaviors' that generated good results in the country such as the structure and development of aftermarket areas. "

"... Within expansion plans outside of Costa Rica, the company plans to enter other markets, this even after having opportunities to enter South America. Our focus is the north is not to leave an opportunity if not our strategy is focused on that. "
