Puerto Rican Trade Mission to Visit Costa Rica

From 21 to 23 August, representatives from sectors such as cosmetics, oils, manufacturing, engineering design, electronics and food from Puerto Rico will be seeking new partners.

About 150 business appointments with thirteen Puerto Rican companies have already been set up and will be held at the Crowne Plaza in La Sabana. On the part of Costa Rica 80 employers will be participating.

"Two years ago, in 2011, our first mission of this kind came here to Costa Rica. We will be repeating the event and aiming to strengthen trade ties between the two countries and generate new business opportunities which will benefit both nations, " said Awilda Mercado, executive director of the Office of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in Panama and Latin America
