Tender for Regulated Parking Being Prepared

The Honduran city of San Pedro Sula will put out to tender in a month and a half, a regulated vehicle parking system.

According to José Antonio Pineda, executive secretary of the Commission for the Promotion of Public-Private Partnerships, the bidding rules are in advanced stages and they now only need an economic study.

"We need to approach the national bank to get its opinion on the feasibility of the project and find out if they are willing to finance them", said Pineda to Laprensa.hn.

The project, which is to regulate some 830 parking spaces in the city center, has two consortia interested, one from Israel and one from France.
