Panama's Torrijos to anounce Cabinet reshuffle

Panamanian President Martín Torrijos is set to announce a Cabinet reshuffle today,Eric Rodríguez Auerbach, the government's press spokesman, said.

The announcement follows a fortnight of speculation over the identities of the team that will accompany Torrijos during the last 14 months of his administration.

Guatemala's Colom announces shuffles in two ministries

President Álvaro Colom of Guatemala announced a minor Cabinet reshuffle in which Celso Cerezo takes over from Eusebio Del Cid as health minister and Julio Recinas replaces Raúl Robles at Agriculture.

"These changes are meant to make improvements in the government's team," Colom told a press conference.
