Poland Announces Charter Flights to Panama

The Polish tour operator ITAKA plans to start flights to Panama City in November this year.

From a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Panama:

With the support of the Government of the Republic of Panama, the largest tour operator in Poland will begin charter flights to the isthmus between the months of November this year and March 2017.

The company ITAKA - Polania presented in Warsaw to the President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela, the vice president and foreign minister, Isabel de Saint Malo de Alvarado and ambassador to Poland, Enrique Zarak, its plans to transport around 5 thousand tourists to Panama in its first season.

To strengthen this initiative, the Government, through the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) will promote in Poland, together with ITAKA, the tourist destinations on offer in Panama.

Seasonal Flights Start Between Panama and Poland

Charter Flights to Panama

September 2011

The companies Aventura 2000 and Turista Internacional will start running charter flights to Panama from May 2012.

Providing daily flights, the companies will serve markets in Mexico, Central America, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.

The operation is supported by the Panamanian Tourism Authority (ATP) who are giving funding of $2.5 million for the project, of which $ 250 thousand will be used for marketing plans and the rest will go towards buying seats that the companies are not able to sell, indicated Solomon Shamah, administrator of the ATP.

Costa Rica to Receive Weekly Charter Flight from Germany

Starting 6 November the charter flights will fly between Düsseldorf, Germany and Liberia International Airport.

The direct flight operated by the whole sale agent TIU will arrive Saturdays at 3 pm, indicated Tourism Minister, Carlos Ricardo Benavides.

"Costa Rica will be the first country in Central America to receive TIU flights.

Panamanian Tourism Negotiates Promotion with Iberia

August 2010

The country's tourism authority and the Spanish airline are in discussions for a $4 million shared publicity agreement.

The contract, which could be signed this week, will promote the country in Europe as a tourist destination and consolidate the direct flights operated by the carrier to Panama.
