Merck Sharp and Dohme has started operating a new financial services center in Costa Rica, from where it will provide support to the company's operations in the Americas.

San José, November 29, 2017. MSD, known as Merck in the United States and Canada, opened its Financial Services Center in Costa Rica today. Through this Financial Services Center, MSD will support the Accounting, Planning and Financial Analysis activities of the company in the Americas, from Canada to Chile and to date has generated 200 new jobs.
"The main reason why we chose Costa Rica for the location of the new MSD Financial Services Center is because of the highly trained human talent in the country. With this new operation we reaffirm our commitment to the development and growth of the country," said Susana Pardo, Executive Director of the Regional Center for Financial Services of MSD.
"Scientific invention is the heart of what we do. Our scientists develop medicines and vaccines that improve and in many cases save lives around the world. This new operation in Costa Rica will reinforce our processes, ensuring that our products reach the hands of those who need them," Pardo concluded.
MSD will recruit staff with professional profiles related to the area of administration, accounting and finance. The available positions will be published on the web page http://www.msd.com/careers/home.html, where candidates can create their profile and leave their curricular information.

San Jose, June 28th 2017. MSD will establish a Regional Center for Financial Services in Costa Rica to support the company's operations in Latin America.
Multinational corporation WNS will provide financial, accounting and customer care services from its facility in Santa Ana.
The company's new data processing center is expected to generate 100 jobs.
