Through a system that monitors in real time changes in the interests and preferences of consumers in Central American countries, developed by CentralAmericaData, it is possible to project short and long term demand trends for the different products, services, sectors and markets that operate in the region.

In Honduras, the interactive report shows that as of January 5, the number of interactions associated with pest control began to increase. Until the end of August, searches were still on the rise.

In Costa Rica, the volume of Internet searches and social networks associated with pest control reported a sustained decline since January 26, but stopped falling on March 15 and interest has been rising since that date.

In Panama, the interest under analysis has been rising since March 8, and this behavior continued until the end of August. El Salvador is a similar case to Panama, since in the Salvadoran market the interactions associated with the issue began to rebound as of January 5.

The interactive system details that in the case of the Guatemalan market, the trend shows a sharp drop in consumer interest in pest control services, which began on February 2, however, as of March 15, the volume of searches in the digital environment shows a rebound that continued until August 30.

This tool for monitoring the interests of consumers in any country in the region allows companies to project demand trends and anticipate the changes that will occur in the various sectors and categories of products and services. This information system allows tracking of any product or category, resulting in an extremely valuable input for making business decisions in the new commercial reality.
