Partnership Between ACP and Port Manatee

The ACP and Port Manatee, Florida signed a strategic alliance that will boost joint trade and the Canal’s expansion.

The agreement was signed by the administrator of the Panama Canal Authority (ACP), Alberto Aleman Zubieta, and the executive director of Port Manatee, David L. McDonald.

With this alliance, a commitment to boost mutual trade and information exchange was sealed in order to meet the needs of the maritime industry.

"We are excited to begin this chapter in our partnership with Port Manatee, one of the fastest growing in the United States," said Alemán Zubieta.

He added that looking beyond 2014 and the completion of the Canal’s expansion, the growth of trade and the emergence of new economic opportunities that will benefit the customers of Port Manatee and the Panama Canal are anticipated.

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) and the Mississippi State Ports Authority (MSPA) have formed an alliance to promote maritime trade.

ACP's administrator, Alberto Alemán Zubieta, and the executive director of MSPA, Donald Allee, have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote the "all water route" between Asia and the east coast of the USA, via the Panama Canal.

PCA Allies with Port of Palm Beach

The Panama Canal Authority signed an alliance with the Port of Palm Beach, in order to promote traffic between the terminal and the Canal.

The signed memorandum comprises join commercialization initiatives, information exchange, and fostering business opportunities between both organizations.
