Panamanian Trade Mission to Honduras and El Salvador

Negotiations will be conducted in San Salvador on 30 and 31 May and in Tegucigalpa on 2 and 3 June 2011.

India Trade Mission visits Guatemala

March 2011

Representatives from industries and commercial businesses will meet with Guatemalan peers.

Business meetings will be held on March 11th at the Camino Real Hotel in the capital city.

Yanina Rebulla, activity coordinator, told, "... the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India in the country is organizing these business meetings in order to improve commercial relations between both nations, while supporting product exchange."

Salvadoran Business Mission to Visit Colombia

A group of businessmen is traveling with president Mauricio Funes in his upcoming official visit to Colombia.

The visit is scheduled for the 23rd and 24th of February.

It is expected for the group of businessmen to participate in the tourism fair "Tourism Showcase ANATO 2011", which will be inaugurated by the two presidents.

EuroExpo 2010 to Be Held This Month

The second round of EuroExpo 2010 will take place from 19 to 22 July in Guatemala.

The event was initially scheduled for 31 May to 3 June but was postponed due to the eruption of the Pacaya volcano that led to the closure of Guatemala's international airport for several days.

The fair’s second edition will take place on Grand Hotel Tikal Futura, from May 31 to June 3.

Gunther Reitzel, president of the Guatemalan-German Chamber of Commerce, explained they expect 30 European businessmen at the event.

“Four thousand visitors are expected to visit over 100 exhibitors and 102 stands of Central American, Guatemalan and European companies, plus a cultural and gastronomic area”, reported
