Panamanian Trade Mission in Nicaragua

Panamanian businessmen negotiated purchases for $ 1.5 million of Nicaraguan products over three days of meetings.

The products include leather and footwear, wooden furniture, seafood and dairy products, said Roberto Brenes, General Manager of the Nicaraguan Export and Investment Center (CEI).

"The sales will materialize over the course of the year, contributing to a 15 percent growth in projected exports by Nicaragua, which last year exceeded U.S. $ 1.800 million,” reported Laprensa.com.ni.

During the rounds of negotiations, in addition to the sales, Panamanian businessmen showed interest in co-investing in the country.
