Panama to re Tender 97 Ambulances

After canceling the four year contract for leasing the vehicles, the Social Security Department has announced that it is preparing the request for proposals to re-tender a supply of ambulances.

Panama: A Single Bid to Supply 55 Ambulances

August 2018

The company Tri Star Centroamérica was the only entity to submit a proposal in the tender for the Social Security Fund of Panama for the supply of 55 ambulances.

The process for this public purchase was published on the website for state purchases last July, and consists of the purchase of vehicles to be used for patient care and transport, which must be this years model or the next. The engine must be at least 150 horsepower, diesel or gasoline engine with electronic injection of 4 to 8 cylinders.

Panama: $5 Million in Ambulances

The Health Ministry will be allocating resources to purchase 59 ambulances which will be distributed among different centers.

The  National Economic Council (CENA) has approved an additional loan for $5 million to acquire 59 ambulances. 

Honduras: Tender for 13 Ambulances

September 2014

The Ministry of Health in Honduras is putting out to tender the purchase of 13 ambulances.

"Provision of 13 4x4 ambulance vehicles."

The name of the Project is: Program for Improvement of Access to Services and Health Networks. Loan No. 2943 / BL-HO and Program for Strengthening of Management and Decentralized Supply of Health Services, IDB loan No 2418 BL-HO .

$40 million Tender in Panama Suspended

May 2014

The competition for the purchase of 159 ambulances whose submission date for proposals was today, has been suspended at the request of the Authority for Transparency and Access to Information.

The Ministry of Health has made public its position on certain publications in various national media, related to the tender of an Integrated Ambulance System.
