Panama: $ 1.4 Million for Refrigerated Trucks

The Ministry of Health is inviting bids for the purchase of refrigerated trucks.

Within the Project for Improvement of Health Equity and Performance, the Ministry will purchase four (4) large and fourteen (14) small refrigerated trucks.

Some of the specifications for the 4 large refrigerated trucks:

Cab-over motor truck
Chassis at least 87.255 mm or 23.8 feet.
White
2010 or 2011 model year

Some of the specifications for the 14 small Refrigerated Trucks:

Cab-over motor truck
Chassis at least 14 feet long to 16 feet minimum body
White
2010 or 2011 model year

Capital.com.pa reports that "this increase is global, meaning that the shipping companies assure that the competitiveness of Panamanian [or regional] exports will not be affected."
