Panama: Touristic Project in Palenque Island

Amble Resorts group will build 50 beachfront residences and a 30-room luxury boutique hotel, in the first phase of the project.

Developers expect to conclude the construction of this first phase in the first months of 2012, and they expect to start presale of the project in 2010, with construction starting some time later.

"For this project we have chosen an isolated island in Panama" said Benjamin Loomis, Amble Resorts president, "because the country is about to surge as one of the top touristic destinations of the world".

Second Stage of Los Micos Beach Starts

The banks, Ficohsa, BAC Honduras, Ficensa, Rural Development Bank in Guatemala and Panama's Banco Pichincha had already approved a syndicated loan of $24 million to finance the tourism project.

Nicaragua: $30 Million Wyndham Hotel

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts formed an alliance with Grupo Mariana to develop a $30 million hotel in the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.

The $30 million, 330-room Wyndham Mariana Resort & Casino will be one of the key centerpieces of the Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort, which is situated on 923 acres with over one mile of beachfront.

Gran luxury resort on Nicaraguan beach announced

October 2008

Grupo Mariana announced the construction of a residential and tourist complex with 1350 units in Nicaragua.

According to the company, the resort, called Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort, will be located near San Rafael del Sur, one hour from Managua, and will have 1350 units spread over an area of 923 acres.
