Panama: Thermal Plant Increases Capacity to 80 MW

The company building the thermoelectric plant PANAMA II has been authorized to increase capacity from 60 MW to 80 MW and extend the term of validity of the final license until March 2016.

"... FIRST: Modify the first AN Resolution No.7190-Elec of March 20, 2014, to be as follows:

FIRST: GRANT in favor of the corporation by SoEnergy PANAMA, S. DE RL, registered on Listing SL 2311 Document 2471429 of the Public Record A PERMANENT LICENSE for the construction and operation of a plant for generating electrical energy called PANAMA II , to be located in the village of Pedregal, Panama District, province of Panama, with an installed capacity of 80 MW and which will use diesel fuel.
For these purposes, the certificate is issued with Final License Registration
No.173A-14. "
