Panama: Tender for Construction of Parking Tower

The Mayoral office of Panama has announced that before the end of the year it will publish a tender to build a tower of 10 floors of parking with capacity for 450 cars.

According to the mayor of the district capital, Jose Isabel Blandon, the respective tender aims to reuse the EDEM building that was the former headquarters of the Municipality of Panama, located on Avenue B in that city.

Prensa.com reports that "... The mayor added that this would be an addition to the renovations being done in the San Felipe Neri market. "

Works Planned for Panama City

New offices in the cemetery of Concepción and sidewalks on via España up until the Cinco de Mayo Plaza are part of the works to be completed in 2016, according to explanations given authorities from the Mayoral office, adding that the list of projects that they plan to develop between 2016 and 2019 will be announced in December and are part of the Action Plan for the City.

Panama: Tender for Surveillance System

The Mayor of Panama is planning to put out to tender this year the purchase of 100 surveillance cameras to be used in the capital and a security monitoring center.

The city's mayor, Jose Isabel Blandon told Prensa.com that "... The project could be around $2 million, however, the tender has yet to be held to determine the final cost. "
