The project award is for best value and separate evaluation.

Those that presented bids were: Acciones Infraestructura S.A., Consorcio Nuevo Hospital del Niño, Agrupación Nuevo Hospital del Niño, Consorcio FCC, ICA, Sacyr Constructora S.A., and Consorcio Hospitalario San José Panamá.

The Directorate of Public Contracts annulled the second report by the tender evaluation committee, after participating companies denounced more irregularities.
