From a statement issued by the Panamanian Food Safety Authority:

Panama City / The Panamanian Food Safety Authority (AUPSA) found that for years there have been imports from different countries of some fruit nectars which do not comply with Regulation 31-53 of 1999, which establishes the minimum content of fruit that they must possess.

During a review of records, as part of the strengthening of controls, it was found that of 122 nectars that are imported from Central America, 69, ie 56% fail to comply with the rules, resulting in a temporary suspension of imports found, until the necessary corrections are made, announced the general manager AUPSA, Dr. Yuri Huerta.
