The National Telecommunications of the National Authority of Public Services (ASEP) is carrying out the public consultation No.002-2016, in order to receive feedback and comments on the "Proposal to allow exchange between concessionaires of the Main Open Radio Frequency operating in the Frequency Modulation Band (FM) ".
Those interested in participating may obtain the document from Monday 15 February 2016, in the Concessionaire Customer Service Unit (UAC) of the National Telecommunications Department of the National Authority for Public Services, located on the first floor, Office Park building, via Espania and Fernández de Córdoba, or you can download the document from the ASEP page, under "Public Consultations" Sector Radio and Television.
In the concession model proposed by the government, one operator can be the virtual operator of a logical channel, management-multiplex concessionaire and / or network administrator at the same time.
The Vice Ministry of Telecommunications has presented its proposal for a reference model for the transition to digital television, in which it details the concession model and partnership opportunities between concessionaires, details of the use of the radio spectrum, aspects related to digital solidarity, deployment of DTT and the expected results of this technological change under the ISDB-Tb standard.
As part of the plan to reorganize the modulation frequency band, segments will be modified and frequencies will be freed up so that they can be granted in concession.
The Regulatory Authority for Public Services (ASEP) announced that the process starts now and will end on January 9, 2016, and from that date it will be able to tender the frequencies that have become available.
The National Public Services Authority intends to rearrange assignments for the FM radio spectrum band between 88 MHz and 108 MHz.
