Panama Prepares Tender for Advertising

The new tender for international advertising services by the Panama Tourism Authority should be published by December and the contract should be for a period of two years.

The Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) finally announced that by the end of 2014 it will publish the specifications for the tender which was scheduled for last September, to award a service contract to promote tourism in the country which since 2012 has been been managed by the institution.

Jesus Sierra, administrator of the ATP told that "... The institution is finalizing the specifications, and hopes that by the end of 2014 they will be published on the PanamaCompra website. " '... The main component of the tender will be international promotion, the company awarded the contract will have to work with a local company, which will manage the internal campaign. "

'... Between 2010 and 2014 more than $35 million was spent on international promotion. This year the budget for marketing and advertising is $19 million, of which just over $9 million had been implemented up until 30 September. "

Panama to Tender Advertising Services

The Tourism Authority is preparing to announce in September an international tender to hire an advertising agency to promote the country's tourism destinations abroad.
