Panama Metro Moves Forward

Last week, Metro authorities signed an advising agreement with the company who operates the Metro of Medellín, Colombia.

Monday, November 23, 2009

This Colombian company will advise Panamanian authorities on design, planning, execution, administration, operation and maintenance of Panama City's proposed metro system.

"The conceptual design of the system is in charge of Swiss-Mexican-Panamanian consortium POYRY, Cal y Mayor and Geoconsult. In the past week, authorities had selected the winning logo from a public contest, but had to revert their decision, as the chosen visual representation reportedly plagiarized 'Televisión Barcelona', from Spain", reports Elfinanciero.com.mx.
