Panama Hosts Tenth Finance Technology Conference: CL@B 2010

Organized by Latin American banking federation Felaban, the event will be held from 6 to 8 September in Panama City.

CL@B is an annual meeting of IT managers and high level executives responsible for risk management and the operation of the many different business concerns of financial institutions. It seeks to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience relating to technological solutions for the Latin American financial sector through conferences and seminars led by international experts.

It is also an opportunity to meet with technology suppliers offering a full panorama of state-of-the-art solutions in exhibitions and workshops.

Panama Hosts Congress on Banking Security

August 2009

The XIV Latin American Congress on Banking Security will be held in Panama City on September 28 and 29.

The event, known as CELAES, will be organized by the Banking Association of Panama, and will take place in the Marriot Hotel in Panama City.

Experts on Physical Security, Information Security, Auditing, Fraud Prevention, Operations and Money Laundering will meet and discuss best practices.

Panama City has become the financial capital of Latin America and is hosting the XLII Annual Assembly of the Latin American Federation of Banks (Felaban).

Most of the representatives at the assembly are from commercial banks in the 44 countries participating in the international event. The event brings 1200 executives from 500 commercial , and state banks, and regulatory entities.
