Panama Expocomer 2015 Begins

With the participation of over 600 companies from over 35 countries Panama's most important trade fair in Central America has been inaugurated.

From a statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama:

With the participation of over 600 companies gathered in more than 850 exhibition booths representing over 35 countries from North, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), today inaugurated Expocomer 2015, the thirty-third version of the most important trade show in Panama and the region.

The opening ceremony of Expocomer, was attended by Juan Carlos Varela, President of the Republic of Panama, and the keynote speaker, José Carlos Ugaz Sánchez-Moreno, president of Transparency International, diplomatic corps accredited in Panama, Ministers of State and exhibiting companies.

Confirmation has been given of the participation of delegations from countries such as Argentina, El Salvador, Israel, Mainland China, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil, and for the first time, Slovakia.

The event received around 10,500 visitors and in the business meetings 1,350 contacts were made.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture in Panama (CCIAP) closed the thirty-third version of Expocomer with complete success, having made significant contributions to the economy of Panama and exhibitor countries who took part in business meetings over four days at this important international trade show.

The traditional event, in its thirty-third version, will include the speaker José Ugaz, a renowned fighter against corruption.

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) has ensured the success of the thirty-third version (XXXIII) of Expocomer and at the same time announced that the inauguration of the most important trade show in Latin America, will have as its keynote speaker Jose Carlos Ugaz, a Peruvian lawyer fighting corruption and promoting transparency in Latin America and in the rest of the world. In addition, the President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela will also be attending.

Expocomer 2013 Announced in Panama

The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture has officially announced EXPOCOMER 2013, to be held from 17 to 20 April 2013 at the ATLAPA Convention Center.
