The companies who attended the clarification meeting held by the Ministry of Public Works were: FCC Construcción de Centroamérica S.A., Alquileres y Ventas Panedi, Conalvías S.A., Ceiusa, Conconcreto, Constructora Meco S.A., and Heliopol PMA.

The submission of proposals has been set for November 8, however, firms requested an extension in order to comply with all the requirements so it could be moved to another day.

"The highway project will be located within a kilometer of the current entryway on to Pacific Panama (Howard), where more than 150 companies are situated, mostly multinationals ....", reported Prensa.com.
