Panama: $58 million in Residential Projects

Constructions of condominiums and land development make up most of the list of residential projects for which environmental impact studies were submitted in November 2015.

From the report entitled "Construction Projects in Panama - November 2016", prepared by the Business Intelligence unit at CentralAmericaData.com, provides a detailed list of major construction projects for which environmental impact assessment (EIA) studies were presented to the Ministry of Environment in November.

Constructora Normandia, SA submitted an EIS to build, in the village of Juan Demóstenes Arosemena, Arraiján District, Province of Panama (vs. Arraiján Brisas del Golf), 583 houses in an area measuring ​​12 hectares + 3226.92 m2 consisting of four phases which will be run over a period of three years and which in total will include neighborhood parks, shopping areas, sports facilities, and community facilities. $49 million will be invested in the development to be called "Villas Toledo"

Inversiones Tarjal, SA submitted an EIS to create in the township of San Pablo Viejo, District of David, Chiriqui 116 residential lots and three streets. The development will be done in an area of ​​18 hectares of which they will use for the of the project to be called "Residencial Piedmont", nine hectares eight thousand two hundred and eighty square meters and seventy nine dekameters (98,280.79m2). According to the document, it is estimated that the amount of the investment will be $5,500,000.00.

Promociones Las Perlas, SA submitted an EIS for adaptation of 119 lots for residences with average size of 450 m2, a public area, internal roads with primer and double seal measuring 15 and 12.8 meters wide, potable water through underground source, electricity, individual septic tanks, under the RBS zoning standard (Residential Bono Solidario). The project will be located in the township of Santo Domingo, District Bugaba, Chiriqui. a total investment of $3,100,000.00 is estimated for the urban development.
