Panama: $26 million Investment in Shopping Center

An environmental impact study has been presented for the construction of a 13 story mall and 103 shops in the city Las Tablas, province of Los Santos.

The company GOLF REALTY INC. presented to the National Environmental Authority of Panama an environmental impact study to develop a commercial building on 13 levels containing 103 shops, called Hacienda Plaza.

The study details the total buildable area measures 71,771.39 m2 and will include, besides parking spaces, offices, cinemas, a soccer room and food court.

"... The project is located in an area covered in vegetation including canopy trees, stubble and grass in an area that has been identified for housing and commercial development zoned C2, known as the sector Brisas del Golf and the beginning of the Northern Corridor in the Township Rufina Alfaro, District of San Miguelito. The estimated final cost of the investment is $26 million, with a duration of approximately 35.5 months, starting in January 2015. "
