Panama: $150 Million Roadworks Announced

Among the works announced for the province of Cocle is the renovation of roads and construction of bridges and roads in rural areas.

From a statement issued by the Presidency of Panama:

The Government of the Republic of Panama, through a Cabinet Council, meeting in the Valle de Anton, announced new works costing more than 150 million dollars in the province of Cocle for the benefit of over 300 thousand inhabitants.

The President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela, and the head of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), Ramon Arosemena confirmed the construction of more than 120 kms of road in Valle de Anton, the district of Anton and La Pintada of Penonome.

Panama: Investments for $100 million in Costa Abajo

October 2016

The construction of a 108 kilometer road, rural water supply and treatment plants are some of the investments announced for Costa Abajo, in the province of Colon.

In order to improve the quality of life for residents of Costa Abajo in the province of Colon and to prepare the districts of this region for tourism development, the Cabinet has announced the construction of 108 kilometers of road, Basic Health 100/0, and education for more than 100 million dollars.

Panama: Tender for Roadworks in Chiriquí

April 2016

An announcement has been made of the renovation of 130 kilometers of road and the start of analysis necessary to prepare the tender for the extension of 33 kilometers from the Concepcion-Volcan highway.

The Cabinet today announced the renovation of 130 kilometers of road in the districts of Renacimiento and Bugaba, Chiriqui province, as part of a development plan between local authorities and the Government.

Panama: Roadworks Announced

March 2016

A 25 kilometer section of road is part of infrastructure projects announced by the head of Public Works for the six districts in the province of Cocle.

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) will build 25 kilometers of road in each of the six districts of the province of Cocle (Aguadulce, Anton, La Pintada, Penonomé, Nata and Olá) as part of a program that seeks to provide an immediate response to remote and productive communities in the country.

Panama: Road Works in Colon Announced

July 2015

The Ministry of Public Works is planning to build 40 kilometers of road, 5 bridges and 8 storm drains in the province of Colón, between Miguel de la Borda and Coclé del Norte.

From a statement issued by the Ministry of Public Works in Panama:

The Minister of Public Works, Ramon Crespo Arosemena, announced the construction of the road in the section from Miguel de la Borda to Cocle del Norte in Costa Abajo district of Donoso in Colon province, benefiting more than 5000 inhabitants of this remote region.
