A study of the interests and preferences of consumers in Central America, prepared by the Trade Intelligence Unit of CentralAmericaData, gives interesting results on the preferences and tastes of people in various products, services and activities.

According to the interactive report in Guatemala and Panama, most of the consumers who have expressed interest in the digital environment in paints, waterproofing or varnishes are men. In the remaining markets of the region, the majority are women.

When analyzing the type of product associated with the interest in footwear, Panamanian consumers classified as high socioeconomic level, quite often relate the terms watercolor painting, acrylic paint and coating.


In the case of the Guatemalan market, consumers of medium-high socioeconomic level, more frequently associate the terms waterproofing, acrylic paint and oil paint with the interest in paints.

In the digital environment of Costa Rica, the terms acrylic paint and watercolor paint are among the types of products most frequently associated with the paints market, while in Honduras, acrylic paint and coating are some of the topics that consumers most frequently relate to paints.

In the Salvadoran market, interest in waterproofing and oil paints are among the most prominent, and in Nicaragua acrylic paint and watercolor paint are some of the types of products that generate the most interactions in the digital environment.
