In a meeting with exporters from both nations, the British Embassy highlighted the export potential of Salvadoran products. "We have identified some areas with good prospects for increasing our relationships," said Linda Cross, the British ambassador.

The country is currently the seventh largest coffee buyer in El Salvador, and according to Cross, said volume could double.

"We believe this link, especially in this area, will be strengthened by the good efforts of the British Embassy in the country. Developing events like this allows us to explore the possibility of new business opportunities that will enable us to boost trade relations," said Carlos Castaneda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Integration and Economic Promotion.
