Nicaragua to Host Expocasa 2011

Alberto Atha, President of the Chamber of Builders of Nicaragua, Cadur, the event´s organizer, said that they will have offers for housing between $ 14,500 and $ 150,000.

El Nuevo Diario publishes on its website more statements from the executive, "We will serve all sectors of the population with very good credit.."

Nicaragua: Housing Construction to Grow By Just 12%

For 2013, the Chamber of Builders of Nicaragua projects an increase in housing construction of between 10% and 12%, the lowest percentage in the past three years.

"In the last three years, not including the current one, between 12,000 and 14,000 homes were built, that's a ratio of about 4000 houses per year, for this reason we believe that this year growth will not have the same level bringing acceleration," said Alberto Atha, vice president of the Chamber of Urban Builders (Cadur).

Expocasa in Guatemala Expects $26 Million in Deals

Development companies expect the Government to allocate $ 40 million for the construction of social housing by mid-year.

The Builders Chamber of Nicaragua (Cadur) said the funds will achieve the goal set by the Nicaraguan Social Security Institute, INSS, of 4.000 homes for 2011.
