Nicaragua: a new model of communication between investors and the government

A new model of communication between investors and the government has been announced in the official promotional agency for investments, called ProNicaragua.

The system is intended to deal with the communication problems that arise between private industry and state organization, which often are late in issuing a reply to industry requests.
In this first stage, the plan will be available only to companies in the textile, clothing, and tourism industries, since these sectors already work actively with ProNicaragua.
Later it will be boadened to include other sectors of the economy, where it is hoped it will benefit more investors.

Nicaragua: Investors interested in western tourism

The hospitality, security and the range of tourist attractions in the west of the country has piqued the interest of more than 20 investors from Europe, the United States and Central America who participated in the Tourism Forum called "Invest in Nicaragua: Explore New Horizons!"

The event, sponsored by Nicaragua's Official Agency of Investment Promotion, ProNicaragua, and the Cuenta Reto del Milenio, aims to highlight the potential of tourism of León and Chinadega. The goal is not only to develop new tourism projects but also to create strategic alliances with projects that are already in place.
