Nicaragua: Investment in BPO

Ibex Global Solutions has announced an investment of $4 million in a customer service, collections and back office center, to service its operations in Latin America.

Its geographical proximity to the United States was one of the reasons why the company Ibex Global Solutions decided to set up its regional headquarters in Managua. With an investment of $4 million, the company has opened its service center, where 500 agents will work providing services in English and Spanish and 250 in Spanish only.

Robert Dechant, executive director of Ibex, told Elnuevodiario.com.ni another of the elements that facilitated the selection of Nicaragua as a site for its BPO was its "... helpful environment because of government institutions and the private sector."

"... Ibex Global Solutions is a company that has been in the market for 15 years offering integrated services and customer service with a wide range of solutions. It has 18 contact centers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Jamaica, Pakistan, Senegal, the Philippines and Nicaragua. "

Nicaragua: Growing Investment in BPO

The service center which was inaugurated in Managua by the company founded on Panamanian capital, Onelink, joins the 45 companies operating call centers in the country.

With an investment of nearly $2 million, the company Onelink started operations at its new service center in Managua. The company, which in the country will be called Xperts Nicaragua, expects to close the year with a payroll of 700 employees.

The company Equifax has announced the opening of a new shared services center to serve its operations in Latin America, Europe and North America.

The new 4,400 square meter building is located in the Metro free zone, in Barreal de Heredia where Equifax has been established since 1995.
