Tuesday, December 19, 2017

Raúl Antonio Novoa Marín, head of community relations at B2Gold in La Libertad, told that "... "In this year 2017, we had lower production, due to the permitting processes, which is specific to the mining industry. However, with the support of the residents of La Libertad and Santo Domingo, we managed to gain approval of environmental impact studies for Tope and San Juan'. "

"... Currently, the mining company is preparing the ground to operate in the San Juan and Tope projects, in the municipality of La Libertad, to start operations in 2018. With the Antena de Santo Domingo project, the company intends to complete the permitting process next year."
