New Tender for Technology Platform

After declaring the first tender process void, the Panamanian government is calling for a new tender for maintenance of the SUME 911 technology platform.

After declaring void, on January 17 of this year, the tender for the "renewal and maintenance service of the technological platform for the unique 9-1-1 emergency management system for a period of 60 months" a new call has been made with the following details:

Panama Government Purchase 2017-0-04-911-08-LP-004118:

"Requirement to renew various systems, maintenance and services of the technological components, which make up the Unique System of Emergency Management 9-1-1 (SUME 9-1-1), both in the Primary Control Center (NCC) and Secondary Control Center (BCC), for a period of five (5) years, through monthly payments (60 monthly payments).

"Due to the complexity of SUME 9-1-1 a "Turnkey" type service is required, through which the contractor must be responsible for all the requirements described here.  It includes warranties, support, maintenance and parts, both hardware and software throughout the duration of the contract, plus updates arising from applications and software during the contract period, including increments in physical infrastructure required from the updates in question. All components must be harmoniously integrated into the technology platform for optimum functionality. 

At the end of the contract, all equipment (hardware), all software licenses, all software development and all materials and intellectual property related to licenses, source developed software code for this project, equipment, applications and products contained in the request for proposals or that are part of the technology platform, will be owned by SUME 9-1-1."

Reference value: $4.685.000 

The deadline for receipt of bids is June 22, 2017
