New Round of FTA with Peru in Costa Rica

From February 28 until March 4, the Costa Rican capital will host the third round of negotiations.

Francisco Alvarez de Soto, vice minister of international trade negotiations of Panama told the media that this round has made significant progress, "I must be optimistic. We are making good progress. We agreed on three chapters and the other tables are reporting progress."

"Alvarez de Soto said they expect to conclude negotiations on a fourth round, possibly by July." Our idea is to hopefully complete the process during the first half of the year," says the article in AFP.
