New Low-Cost Flight: Dallas - Liberia

The low-cost airline Sun Country announced that between June and August 2020 it will operate a weekly flight between the U.S. city of Dallas and the province of Guanacaste in Costa Rica.

The operation will begin on Saturday 13 June and end on Saturday 15 August. The flight will depart at 8 a.m. from Dallas Fort Worth Airport and arrive at Daniel Oduber Quirós at 11:05 a.m.

An hour later on Saturday, at 12:05 p.m., the route will leave Liberia for Dallas, where it will arrive at 5:10 p.m., according to the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT).

The ICT statement said that "... We are excited to add this new route to Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport and to serve Dallas-Fort Worth," said Grant Whitney, chief revenue officer for Sun Country. We are also committed to connecting guests affordably to their favorite people, places and memories, and we look forward to bringing that commitment to Costa Rica. We believe guests will enjoy our low rates, excellent customer service and a comfortable onboard experience," the airline spokesman added.

Sun Country Airlines announced new international service between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Liberia, Costa Rica.
